Edward Rowse Architects is currently in an IDIQ contract with the US Coast Guard. This contract covers all of the USCG District 1 and other CONUS locations as requested. Many of the USCG facilities are historic in nature and are on the historic register. The scope of services includes architectural/engineering studies involving development of cost effective building and site design alternative studies, hazardous material surveys, utility surveys, geotechnical surveys and surveying. The contract also includes the development of technical documents, project proposals, interior design, space configuration and construction contract documents.
The ERA Team is presently working on multiple projects under this contract, these tasks have included water distribution evaluations, housing renovations, roof replacements, exterior masonry repairs, window replacements, fire alarm upgrades, general repairs and restorations. We are also awarded a task order to perform a building envelope study at USCG BSU Boston that includes water spray and pressure testing. Many of these projects are running concurrently and Edward Rowse Architects has provided the staff and consultants to meet the project's needs as they arise.
